Microsoft BI Developer

 Job Description:

Prestigious Global Trading Firm, located in the Chicago Loop, is currently seeking a Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer.

Candidate will formulate and define system scope and objectives. Candidate will also devise or modifie procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity limitations, operating time and form of the desired results, as well as prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. This role is responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation. May lead and supervise others in a group.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with implementing, designing, and/or extending BI implementations.
• Demonstrated experience with designing/developing SQL Servers (eg, Analysis Services, Integration Services), solutions (eg, Reporting Services, SharePoint 2010(PerformancePoint), and developing cross-platform solutions (preferably .NET).
• Demonstrated experience in accessing relational databases (eg, Oracle, SQLServer).
• Skill in three (3) or more of the following: C#, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, DHTML, AJAX, and XML.
• Demonstrated experience with providing and consuming Web Services
• Demonstrated effective communication skills (writing, verbal, and presentation).
• Ability to work within a complex environment/organization.
• Skill in object-oriented software design, development, support (preferably GUI), and technical documentation writing is favorable.
• Skill in project management, team building, and problem solving.
