Summary

It's time to make a change! Fantastic 3 month contract to hire opportunity with Marietta/Smyrna Global organization. Work on critical projects on an MS platform including major integration initiatives as well as a complete redesign of datamart. We need sound ASP.NET/C# skills; will be a mix of Front End and Back End development. Join a stable, growing organization headquartered out of Atlanta and make an impact!

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development life cycle from requirements analysis through test, release and maintenance
• Participate in code and design reviews
• Work with the version control system to ensure a reliable code base
• Provide regular status and progress towards milestones
• Hands-on development of proof-of-concepts and prototypes during the design phase and actual development of the product during the construction phase
• Collaborate with business analysts and clients at multiple levels to gain in-depth understanding of critical success factors, translate complex technical solutions into easily understood business terms, and provide intelligent analysis of various prospective solutions
• Work with Quality Assurance to ensure accurate delivery and compliance with standards, code quality and accepted conventions
• Creatively and independently provide resolution to technical problems in a cost-effective manner
• Conduct research to remain up-to-date and knowledgeable in regards to industry trends and emerging technologies in anticipation of new business processes and system alterations

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of software and database development experience, including experience as a hands-on software developer building object-oriented solutions with Microsoft technologies
• 5+ years in T-SQL development
• 3+ Experience with SQL Server Business Intelligence
• 3+ years solid experience with VB, C# and ASP.NET development
• 3+ years Business Objects XI and Crystal Reports development experience
• 3+ years of software architecture/design experience with the Microsoft technology suite, including: Visual Studio, .NET 3.5, ASP.NET/ASP, Web Services. In addition, C#, VB, VBScript, COM, SQL, XML, ADO, SQL Server 2005/2008
