A special study has been dedicated to “Aviation: Benefits Beyond Borders” at the conference on Aviation. GDP contributed by the industry is $2.2 Trillion with the 1568 commercial airlines that are registered presently.
It has been found that 56.6 million jobs are supported by the industry out of which 8.4 million were directly given the job in this Aviation Industry. Because of the growth in the Aviation industry, it has pushed the Tourism sector also and employment reached to 34.5 million jobs.
Senior Executives of Aviation who were present at the conference were Jim Albaugh who is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, and Thomas Enders who is the chief of Boeing’s European rival Airbus.
