Till 1951 the health care services was ill-developed and the rate of employment in health care jobs in Dubai was very low. But since 1951 the federal government has concentrated on the development and improvement of the health care services in Dubai and at present the sector is in major expansion mode. The ministry of health in Dubai has taken strong initiative for improving the infrastructure of the health care system and one of the major steps is increasing the rate of fund to PHC clinics.

In the recent years the health care services in Dubai have come up as a major revenue generator for its economy. Work experience: Generally a working experience of one-two years is sought for health care jobs. However freshers are also given scope in comparatively smaller organizations.

Working hours: The general working hours for health care professionals is 40-45 hours per week and they have to work in shifts.
