Working Hours:
The working hours of the teachers in Dubai are similar to the working hours of the schools. Typically the day schools in Dubai start around 7.30 a.m. – 8.00 a.m. and continue till 2.30 p.m. – 3.00 p.m. from Saturday through Thursday. Friday is the weekly holiday. Many schools close early on Thursday.
Salary:
The salary depends upon the job profile as well as the educational qualification of the candidate. Although, there is no minimum salary for most of the jobs in Dubai, the minimum salary for teaching job in Dubai is supposed to be 2,000 dhs per month (some schools may even offer less than that). Most of the classroom teachers of government schools in Dubai usually get salary anything between 1,000 – 6,000 dhs per month, while the private school teachers draw 1,000 – 20,000 dhs per month. The schools with UK, US, or IB curriculums offer higher salaries.
