Universities in Dubai have grown significantly in the last two decades. Most of the colleges and universities are affiliating themselves to prestigious institutions abroad, and many of them use English as tuition language. Education system in Dubai is very strong. It is constantly updating and there’s continuous investment in education infrastructure which attracts expatriate, local and foreigners. Ministry of Education in Dubai has prepared a policy for further educational development in the education structure. The existing educational system was established in 1970s in Dubai. This educational structure is a four-tier system which covers fourteen years of education.
In recent years, Dubai's Government has shown an intensive interest in expanding higher education institutes in the city. There are sizable numbers of colleges and universities in Dubai. These educational institutes include public and private universities and colleges.
