Universities in Ireland
Ireland is a country located in Western Europe, west of Great Britain. Its climate is maritime temperate; mild winters, cool summers and more or less overcast one-half of the time. It is a Republic and a member of the EU. Its monetary unit is the Euro. Ireland's is a small modern and trade-dependent economy, with a robust growth.
Higher Education in Ireland consists of the universities. There are a number of private independent colleges and institutes of technology. The universities in Ireland are autonomous, self-governing and substantially state-funded. There are nine universities in Ireland - 2 in Northern Ireland and 7 in the Republic.
