Universities in Latvia

To get an admission in a prestigious university of Latvia, to pursue higher studies, candidates have to clear entrance examinations. Higher education is offered by both private and public institutions. Latvia has two major universities: the University of Latvia and the Riga Technical University.

 

Universities of Latvia offer higher education in various other academies. University of Latvia offer both academic and professional education. University higher education program include Bachelors and Masters Degree Program.

 

A Bachelor's Degree involves three to four years of study, while a Master's Degree lasts one to two years. Students defend a research paper of a bachelor's paper or master's thesis, at the end of each academic study program.
