English teachers for adult education.
Qualifications : For TEFL Teachers the candidate should be qualified English language teacher holding CELTA or any equivalent certificate allowing him to teach student who should appear for KET, PET ,FCE examination carried by Cambridge annually.
Other requirements : Computer knowledge is appreciated . Minimum knowledge of Arabic will help the candidate. The candidate should be young and dynamic and must be self -confident. If you have experience of Business English and ESP then it is an asset . However, newly qualified CELTA graduates will be considered only for General English classes.
Work experience: A minimum 5 years work experience is required for applying in the posts. If you are experienced for more years then it is an advantage for you.
Working hours : In general for TEFL teachers the working hour is six-week on, one -week off work schedule. English teachers for adult education are supposed to teach Saturday to Thursday 7.30 am to 13.30 pm.
Remunerations : The two posts have different pay scale. For TEFL teachers salary is £750 per month. This is paid directly into bank accounts, plus a living allowance of 325 Libyan dinars is to be paid locally. For English teachers required for Adult Education the salary is negotiable as per the candidate's wish. However the candidate will be paid in USD or GBP.
