The different teaching jobs in Mexico depend upon the educational structure of the country. The education structure is divided into two parts-The basic education and the Upper Secondary Education. The basic education consists of pre-school, mandatory primary education and mandatory basic secondary education.

The Upper Secondary Education consists of general baccalaureate, technical baccalaureate, and bivalent baccalaureate. As there are a lot of divisions in the education structure, a large number of people can get teaching jobs in Mexico.

Teachers a large part of the working population of Mexico and teaching is considered as the most respected profession in Mexico.

Lots of people enter as tourist and later on the school processes their working visa.

Qualifications:
Everyone seeking job must have high school diploma. Minimum 1 year of experience and high school diploma is sufficient for people applying for the post of pre primary teachers. For teaching jobs in technical field and field of science, master’s degree is a must. PhD will be an added qualification. Other than this, excellent communication skills in English and Spanish are also required. For foreign nationals along with proper qualification, experience is a must.

Work Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience is must for local residents for the post of post of pre primary and mandatory primary education. For foreigners at least 3-5 years of experience is a must along with the legal work permit.

Working Hours: Teachers have to work 80 hours per month. Working hours are from 9 am-2 pm and then from 4 pm-7pm. Teachers have to work 5 days a week.

Pay Scale: Nothing is specified about the salary in the educational institutions. Pay scale depends on the qualification and experience of the job seeker.
