The banking system in Paraguay is quite strong and loans and credits are available for various purposes.
Since Paraguay is a country without a seaport, many neighboring countries such as Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay have allowed them the use their seaports for trading purposes and warehouses for storing, handling, and transportation of goods. Though Paraguay is primarily dependent on agriculture, the steady growth in the commercial sector has boosted employment opportunities.
