Educational Qualification : In order to apply for the posts of teacher one has to have a graduate degree in the respective subject . A higher qualification like a post graduate degree or more is most appreciated.

Working Hours : In Thailand a teacher has to work for 10-12 hours if needed in a single day. However the timings may vary in certain cases.
Remuneration : The pay scale of teachers is not very attractive in Thailand like other western countries. On an average pay scale starts from a meager 10,000 Bahts and may increase up to 35,000 bahts depending on the institutions. There are several promotions based on the performances of the teachers.
