Now the Twitter Interview starts....
Q1: What is the toughest thing you have to do professionally?
[ Kaushik Pal ] - Well, the toughest part in my job is to maintain the fine balance between client and office expectations .The fine balance is to be retained at mutually beneficial terms and that really becomes very tough.
Q2: How good are you REALLY at handling change?
[ Kaushik Pal ] - Changes within internal environment are fine. But for external environ, it can be very challenging. Can hugely affect running businesses. To be able to adapt to changes and foresee them, comes with experience. Am only trying to improve :)
Q3: What have the last few years taught you?
[ Kaushik Pal ] - Gross revenue is more important than profitability in times of sustenance. If the bottomline is met, options stays on.
Q4: Tell us about a time when you were able to step into a situation, take charge, muster support and achieve good results?
[ Kaushik Pal ] - I believe, I had done a good job for the co. in opening up to the international markets, esp. US markets with team help.
Q5: If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not famous, living or dead, real or fictional. With whom would it be?
[ Kaushik Pal ] - Would like to do the episodes of "The Foodie" for a week or just be a photo journalist to some distance places in India
Q6: Can you handle when other people say NO? and How?
[ Kaushik Pal ] - Am bad at saying NO and it feels equally bad to hear a NO. Only try to talk and convince why a particular task is imp.
Q7: Describe your most successful accomplishment at work so far?
[ Kaushik Pal ] - Breaking into my first international account at http://Asiarooms.com through direct marketing approach. That was fun !!!!
Q8: How do you stay current?
[ Kaushik Pal ] - Mostly through Twitter !!! and reading through online Forums, Blogs ... but yes mostly online stuff !!! Webinars sometimes.
Q9: What type of people do you like to work?
[ Kaushik Pal ] - Thats a tough one. But appreciate people who love work and love to work. Working hard or smart is a diff matter but the love for work should be the core enabler :)
Q10. How would u describe a perfect job?
[ Kaushik Pal ] - One that the individual believes in and loves to perform. Love for the job is the greatest compensation
