Now the Twitter Interview starts....

Q1: What have the last few years taught you?

[ Nilim Dutta ] - That's a rather broad question. But let me keep my observation limited to 2 important things: (contd)

 a. Mission critical information has become key to functioning on even a day-to-day basis at work

 b. Ability to communicate and maintain open communication channels.

Q2: What is the toughest thing you have to do professionally?

[ Nilim Dutta ] - At my level, to continuously evaluate the stream of information that reaches me and then make decisions that affect others.

Q3: If you could take back one career decision, what would it be?

[ Nilim Dutta ] -  I wouldn't want to take back any of my career decisions.

Q4: What type of people do you like to work?

[ Nilim Dutta ] - I always chose to work with people who are open to ideas and not rigid. And passionate, but methodical about implementation

Q5: How good are you REALLY at handling change?

[ Nilim Dutta ] - All my professional life, I have been usually the one who chose to initiate what it takes to bring about change :)

Q6: Which attitude does not work for you at workplace?

[ Nilim Dutta ] -  Lack of commitment. It has never been 'just a job'...one reason I hand-pick a team for a project.

Q7: Can you handle when other people say NO? and How?

[ Nilim Dutta ] - Certainly. When a NO is a part of transparent decision making process and backed by sound logic or information , I may not have had privy to. A YES or NO is very much a part of the decision making process and anyone who is entrusted with such authority handles a no in a rather matter-of-fact way.

Q8: How do u stay current?

[ Nilim Dutta ] - I answered that in Q1 & Q2 .. I handle a continuous stream of mission critical information/data everyday as part of  my professional responsibility. So 'staying current' cannot be really separated from what I do daily.

Q9: Describe your most successful accomplishment at work so far?

[ Nilim Dutta ] - To have been able to conceive and then create around it unconventional, cutting-edge programmes and make others take stakes

Q10: How would u describe a perfect job?

[ Nilim Dutta ] -  There is NO perfect job. It is you who makes a job perfect.
