The thirty ninth twitter interview was given by Mr. Vivek Singh on 16th February 2012.
Introduction:
Currently he is working as an Assistant Manager - Online Marketing at Wiley India.
Past Experiences:
- He worked as an Online Marketing, Social Media Marketing and SaaS Consultant at Webvedics
- Had a Marketing Intelligence profile at Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd
- He was a Customer Care Executive at Jamshedpur Utilities and Services Co. Ltd. (a subsidiary of TATA STEEL)

Now the Twitter Interview starts....
Q1: What have the last few years taught you?
[ Vivek Singh ] - Identify a domain for which one is passionate, develop the required skills & then start a job / business in that domain.
Q2: Could you share with us a recent accomplishment of which you are most proud?
[ Vivek Singh ] - Co-founded http://webvedics.com in 2010, due to lack of funds juggled between job & business, ultimately gave up in Dec'11
Q3: How do you handle workload stress and emergency situations?
[ Vivek Singh ] - To deal with emergency situations, I make sure that I have my priorities listed so that the situation doesn't snowball. To relieve myself of work related stress I make sure that at the end of the day, I unwind with a good book and music.
Q4: What hardships / challenges did you have to overcome during the pursuit of your career?
[ Vivek Singh ] - The biggest hardship was after I left my job (in Feb'11) to start working for WebVedics full time. The projects were hard to come by, so had to survive on my savings during that period.
Q5: What type of people do you like to work with?
[ Vivek Singh ] - People who know what they are doing and are still ready to listen to and adopt fresh ideas.
Q6:Tell us about a time when you were able to step into a situation, take charge, muster support and achieve good results?
[ Vivek Singh ] - There have been several such situations when I was handling Marketing Intelligence for Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd . Several decisions depended on textile market trends. So had to make sure the information always remained up to date .
Q7: If you were written about in the front page of a newspaper, what would the headline say?
[ Vivek Singh ] - LOL that's a tough one, may be, "A start up to help NGOs in better online branding."
Q8: What is the toughest thing you have to do professionally?
[ Vivek Singh ] - Making sure that a new idea is executed well.
Q9: How do you stay current?
[ Vivek Singh ] - Twitter is a major source of latest news for me. Apart from that online news sites and technology and marketing blogs.
Q10: How would you describe a perfect job?
[ Vivek Singh ] - Something which gives me a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.
