Qualifications: For the post of Sales Manager and equivalent a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline along with valuable work experience in the hospitality sector is required. For other managerial posts a Degree or Diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management is required. For positions of chefs, cooks, waiters/waitresses educational qualification is unspecified. 
Work Experience: As most of the hotels hiring candidates in Dubai are in the luxury category of Five Star and above, a minimum experience of 2 to 3 years in the hospitality industry, and preferably in a five star establishment, is asked for. For high ranking managerial posts and specialty posts like Sous Chef, the required qualification can go up to 5 to 7 years. 
Working Hours: Working Hours is usually not specified in these jobs. Also, given the popularity of UAE Hotels, and increasing occupancy rates, working hours may often cross allotted timings. 
Pay Scale: For Managerial Posts, Salary is usually kept at a negotiable rate. For chefs the salary at international hotels ranges around USD 1500 to 2500 per month (approx.). For entry level jobs, salary is not specified.
